"Orion" is our very first and only registered appaloosa stallion that we had purchased from Mount Hope
Stables in Kentucky as a weanling. He is an intelligent, big, strong-built, foundation bred boy and we are very happy with him! We felt that he was mature enough to cover some mares last summer for us. He covered all 6 mares that pastured with him! Orion will produce appaloosa characteristics 100% of the time in all of his offspring no matter what color the dam is! We are excitedly expecting 6, true-black (no agouti) appaloosa babies beginning in April from both ApHC and AQHA mares!
