⭐2023 PURCHASING INFORMATION⭐️
Hello everyone! I just wanted to post some purchasing information for the foals. I have been a little overwhelmed this year with all of the interest. I'm doing my best to get them tested and posted as soon as I possibly can. There may be others that have asked for the same specifications and foals as you, so it's not a guarantee that the foal won't sell before you send a deposit. Please contact me ASAP to reserve your baby!
I do allow payments with a non-refundable deposit of $1000. A deposit is an agreement that you are purchasing said foal and your deposit will take your foal off the market. I strongly suggest that you look into insurance before purchase! Once a deposit is made, that foal is considered your responsibility concerning veterinary costs due to injury or illness. It becomes a boarding situation. There will be NO REFUNDS! Pre-purchase exams are encouraged if there are any concerns. These exams will be charged to you. I advertise all foals to the best of my knowledge, however I am not a veterinarian. I work to develop trusting relationships with our clients and encourage communication! Please tell me any concerns or ask me any questions that you may have!
I am lenient on payment amounts and frequency as long as your foal is paid in full by September 1st. You may forfeit your foal and all payments made if this deadline is not met.**PLEASE contact me if you cannot meet this deadline to work out other options.** All foals must be removed from my property by November 1st, or boarding charges will apply of $10/day. In addition, once you have put a deposit down on a foal, it is non-transferable!
❗Only in the event that something such as death or serious injury, happens to your foal, will I allow the deposit to transfer to another foal of equal or less monetary value. There will not be any refunds in the form of money! Depending on the situation, I may allow you to reserve a foal from the next year's foal crop. Please ask for details. I have only had this happen once over the past several years of breeding and selling! It is a rare occurrence, but it does happen. We live on the great plains and unfortunately it's been known to have horses lost to lightning and predators❗
Forms of payment accepted are a personal check with a USPS tracking #, money order/certified check, bank wires, Zelle or VENMO. Bank wires, Zelle and VENMO are the best way to guarantee your deposit as it is instant. I will not mark a foal sold until I have the deposit in hand! All sales are final. VENMO payments will only be accepted sent through the ⭐️PAYMENTS BETWEEN FRIENDS⭐️ option ONLY! Payment sent using GOODS AND SERVICES will be returned and your deposit will not hold the horse! E-CHECKS must clear before I mark the foal sold as I have seen those come back as insufficient funds on occasion. I strongly encourage you to send payment as a direct bank to bank transfer if VENMO isn't an option for you. After your initial payment, personal checks will be accepted to complete the sale but must clear before the horse is picked up from our ranch. Thank you for your understanding on this matter!
I love to let new owners be involved in picking out a registered name for their new baby! You may choose this option as soon as your deposit is received. If you purchase your baby before I send in the paperwork, please feel free to name them! Just specify that you would like to exercise this option with me. I feel that naming your baby makes the experience more personal. It's OK to if you would rather have me pick out a name for you! I enjoy doing it! As always, I will cover all registration costs. All foals will be registered before leaving my property. Nothing sells on application. ⭐Due to current issues going unresolved or attended to in a timely manner at AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association), I cannot promise to have the registration papers back in time before your baby ships to you, however, I will mail those to you as soon as I receive them from the association!!⭐
All foals will be vaccinated with a 5-way at the buyer's expense! I will provide all of the paperwork necessary for out of state travel which includes a coggins test and health certificate. Your foal will also have it's first deworming treatment at the time that their coggins test is drawn. **I do NOT halter break my foals!! I have several every year. They are out on big pasture. They will be pulled off of their dams and shipped when they are ready to go. This keeps them happy and healthy before travel. I do ship them with a halter and lead rope so in the event that any emergencies occur while in transit, the shipper is able to get a hold of them. A majority of the foals will be very gentle and quiet as I spend a lot of time out in the pasture with them. They are exposed to my kids, dogs, ATV, weather, and big open country! Most of them will be very easy to work with, others may be a little more shy. If you aren't comfortable or have the knowledge to halter break a foal, please work with a trainer or look to purchase from someone else who has already done this for you. *UPDATE* We will halter break your foal for you, but this time that it will take to do so, will extend past the final shipping date of November 1st due to time constraints on our end! We are farmers and are quite busy during fall harvest months. We also offer fall hunting guiding services which keep us away from the farm as well. Your foal will be subject to the $10/day boarding fees after the November 1st deadline!
**UPDATE**Buyers are responsible for shipping fees as well as finding a shipper. Please speak with me if you need help! I will gladly give you reputable names and contact information of shippers near my area and of those that I have personally used. I will NOT however be the middle man and line up shipping for you. I have many options that I trust and they are willing and happy to provide this service to you, however I prefer that you work out the details with the shipper as I am not the one who is doing the hauling. Let it be known that I am not responsible for death or injury that occurs once your foal has left my property. Talk with your shipper about their policies in case an accident occurs while in transit.
❗️All sales are final. There are no guarantees implied, verbal, or written. Vet checks welcomed and encouraged at buyers expense.❗️
I hope to work with all of you at some point in the future! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Thanks!
